Quantum Simulations of Laser-Induced Electron Diffraction Using Recurrent Neural Networks
Supervisors: Prof. Jochen Küpper (DESY, UHH), Dr. Andrey Yachmenev (DESY), Prof. Armin Iske (UHH)

Álvaro obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Physics in Universidad Complutense de Madrid and his Masters Degree in Theoretical Physics (Quantum Field Theory and String Theory) at Uppsala University, Sweden.  During his Master thesis, he was introduced to the machine learning, field in which he worked for months in a company. Now, Álvaro uses his theoretical background and machine learning knowledge to produce Neural Networks that can create an accurate description of different molecular states. The collection of data used for the training of such Neural Networks is created by laser induced electron diffraction on the molecules.
