Combined Reconstruction Approach for Holotomography: Joint Phase Retrieval and Tomography
Supervisors: Prof. Christian Schroer (DESY, UHH), Johannes Dora (DESY), Prof. Tobias Knopp (TUHH)
Daniel received his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at the University of La Laguna and the University of Southern Denmark. His Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Mathematics took place at the Università Degli Studi Dell’Aquila and the Hamburg University of Technology, with a focus on Computational Methods for Biomedical Imaging. He carried out his Master’s thesis on Image Reconstruction in Magnetic Particle Imaging under a model with anisotropy.
At the moment, Daniel is carrying out his PhD at the DESY Photon Science group. He works on 3D phase retrieval algorithms for lensless microscopy with hard X-rays at synchrotron radiation sources.
