We develop and analyze advanced numerical methods for the high performance computing simulation of physical phenomena of nonlinear optics. The elucidation of nonlinear dispersive electromagnetic processes is of high importance for the design of compact and efficient light sources for spectroscopic. Time domain finite element techniques will be applied for the approximation of nonlinear Maxwell’s equations. To enhance scalability and process design optimization, hybrid approaches are used by combining the simulation techniques with scientific machine learning.
