AI in Industry | Opportunities and Use Cases

Dr. Wolfgang Hildesheim is a high energy physicist by education and worked at CERN and DESY. He spent more than ten years in research and consulting and actively promoted data-driven approaches in industry. Since 2012, he is responsible for creating and growing IBM´s Watson, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Business in Europe with a major focus on Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Watson Solutions are IBM`s answer to the current worldwide Artifical Intelligence (AI) mega trend, offering unmatched intelligent services and competitive edge.
In his talk, Dr. Wolfgang Hildesheim will introduce use cases, opportunities, and limitations of innovative AI approaches in industry – providing a glance into a broad variety of application fields.
