• the deadline for applications is March 1st, 2026
• the Topic Evaluation and Selection Committee of DASHH (DASHH-TESC) will review all applications in March 2026
• applicants admitted to the next round will be invited to the GSSP PhD Project Presentation workshop on March 30th, 2026 to present their Master's thesis research and project idea to the DASHH-TESC
• the DASHH-TESC will decide on the candidates to be nominated, the applicants will be informed about the outcome after the workshop
• nominated applicants must further submit their application documents to the DAAD for the nomination procedure in April 2026
• applicants successfully accepted by the DAAD will be offered a full-time PhD scholarship, funded by the GSSP programme and admitted to the DASHH graduate school
