Machine-Learning Approximations for Quantum Simulations of Hydrogen-Bond Dynamics
Supervisors: Dr. Andrey Yachmenev, Prof. Jochen Küpper, Prof. Armin Iske

Yahya obtained a joint M.Sc in applied mathematics (Mathmods) with focus on analysis of differential equations. In his current research, Yahya investigates Machine Learning approaches and nonlinear dimensionality-reduction algorithms to study the electronic and nuclear quantum dynamics of molecules. The developed paradigms will be applied to simulations of the hydrogen-bond dynamics in molecular complexes with water. His project is algorithmically and computationally oriented and resides at the intersection of molecular physics, mathematics and data science.
