A Multi-Purpose Framework for Efficient Parallelized Execution of Charged Particle Tracking
Supervisors: Dr. Krisztian Peters, Dr. Nicholas Styles, Prof. Thomas Ludwig

Georgiana studied Engineering and Computer Science at Politehnica University of Bucharest. Before enrolling at DASHH, she worked on several software engineering projects using different programming languages and paradigms. Interesting past work include prototypes of mobile healthcare applications, big data reconciliation framework and machine learning solutions for adaptive e-learning. Her interests revolve around applied mathematics and computational science, and more precisely on how to build smart and scalable algorithms that efficiently use the computing resources. At the moment, Georgiana is part of the ATLAS group at DESY where she looks for innovative approaches on improving the performance of charged particle tracking software.
