Daniel studied Informatics at Universität Hamburg and obtained his Master’s degree in 2021. His interest in Computational Science led to multiple participiations in the Student Cluster Competition. For his master’s thesis he created Scimon, a framework to trace user’s workflows and allow for post-run analysis of these, ultimately making these processes repeatable and reproducible. The focus on reproducibility also is present in his current research project at the Max Planck Institut for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter, where he works on workflows that allow for reproducible Computational Science.
Besides his current research topics, Daniel has interest in Machine and Deep Learning Applications, as well as in Cyberphysical Systems.
