Dr. Alke Meents of the DESY research group FS-BMX (Biomedical Research with X-rays) at the Centre for Structural Systems Biology (CSSB) will present the current efforts with respect to COVID-19 drug design by means of X-ray crystallography. His talk is entitled "Structure based drug design: massive X-ray screening of a repurposing drug library against the SARS-CoV-2 main protease".
